Scenario
You have been hired to be the first Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of a new specialty orthopedic hospital. One reason you were hired as the CNO was your experience leading teams to improve patient outcomes. The leadership team has decided to develop the organizational culture of this new hospital around the concepts of evidence-based practice and continuous improvement. One of your first tasks is to work with the marketing department to create a brand that demonstrates the hospital’s organizational culture. You have been asked to assemble an interprofessional team to develop the mission statement, vision statement, and values that will guide the hospital. In addition, you will create signage to communicate them to the public. One of your first jobs is to work with the marketing department to come up with a brand that reflects the organizational culture of the hospital. You have been asked to put together a team of people from different fields to come up with the hospital’s mission, vision, and values. You will also make signs to let the public know what they are.

Instructions
Part 1: Envision a prospective team of people and roles that could help with the organizational culture and branding of the hospital. In a Word document, write the following items, keeping in mind their alignment with the concepts of evidence-based practice and continuous improvement:
