Your country just overthrew its dictator, and you are the newly elected President. Unfortunately, due to the divisions in the country and the years of war, economic, military, and political structures are non-existent. A group of loyalists to the old dictator have been detonating bombs, murdering civilians, assassinating leaders, and terrorizing towns with help from a neighboring country\’s dictator.
Create a comprehensive plan for your new government. While creating this government identify 1) the governing style of your government and the principles that govern your leaders (see rubric); 2) the functions of various branches of government; 3) how to maintain public good in domestic areas through at least two programs; 4) an economic structure that is most beneficial to your citizens; 5) ways to create national unity; 6) ways to combat terrorism and violence; and, 6) international organizations to join.

My country is the Republic of Chile which is located in South America. It borders Argentina, Peru, and Bolivia. The country has been involved in a coup d’état due to unstable and unpopular government. Loyalists of the overthrown dictator are still terrorizing different towns with the intention of making a political impact. For example, they are murdering civilians and assassinating leaders with the aim of suppressing the new leadership and sabotaging democracy. This paper describes a comprehensive plan including the governing style, the functions of various branches of government, how to maintain public good, economic structures, how to create national unity, combat terrorism, and international organizations to join.
Domestic Concerns
The type of government is a democracy, in which the most votes make the decisions. People turned to democracy because they were sick of dictatorships that didn’t listen to the voice of the majority (Stivachtis, 2016: 2024 – Do my homework – Help write my assignment online). The rule of law, sovereignty, and the separation of powers are the main ideas that guide the way the country is run. The rule of law says that no one is above the law and that all decisions must be based on the law. Separation of powers is another principle that says the government needs to be split into three parts so that no one branch can abuse its power.
The different branches of government include the legislative, judicial and executive arms of government. It is comprised of elected and nominated leaders from across the country to represent the interest of citizens. The role of the executive, which, of the president, vice-president, cabinet, and state departments, is to enforce the laws. It determines if laws undermine the constitution and how the law applies to individuals or issues.
The domestic programs will include creating education programs and supporting the mining industry to create employment opportunities. Education programs will fill the existing literacy gap since many people are not educated (Magstadt, 2016: 2024 – Do my homework – Help write my assignment online). They were lured to serve the dictator and dropped out of school. Educational programs will include elementary school, high school, and colleges. It will serve the public good since people will be educated and thus they can be employed or start their own businesses. It will deliver the citizens from period problems of hunger and economic crisis. The second program will seek to expand employment opportunities in the mining companies and other sectors (Stivachtis, 2016: 2024 – Do my homework – Help write my assignment online). The employment opportunities will provide a source of income to the citizens. It will reduce the rate of unemployment which leads to poverty and, increases the rate of crime.
The best economic structure is the mixed economic system, which comprises of private corporations and state-owned organizations. The mixed economy allows a healthy competition which leads to creativity and higher profitability (Mundy & Verger, 2016: 2024 – Do my homework – Help write my assignment online). It enhances public ownership of corporations thus solving the social welfare issues. It will be appropriate for a country that is rising from an era of dictatorship that did not allow private corporations to operate freely.
Socializing is one of the best ways of creating national unity in the country. It will be the genesis of respecting other people’s opinions and living with them harmoniously. Socializing will prevent further chaos and killings that are motivated by viewing others as inferior.

The country can join the United Nations, which is responsible for maintaining peace and security across the world. United Nations is an intergovernmental organization that promotes friendly relations among countries. The country can also join World Bank which is an economic organization with 189 member countries globally. It helps in funding various projects to stimulate economic growth. It was founded in 1944 and it is headquartered in Washington D.C.
The first step to becoming a member of the United Nations is to declare adherence to the United Nations charter. The Security Council will review the application and grant the request if all the necessary requirements are met. The permanent members will also vote to grant the application. On the other hand, to join the World Bank, the country must first comply with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) articles of agreement. The Corporate Secretariat Vice Presidency will then fast track the process of new members.
Fighting terrorist threats and domestic threats requires people from all over the world to work together and promote peace (Magstadt, 2016: 2024 – Do my homework – Help write my assignment online). The two plans will work because the United Nations has already used them in other countries. International collaboration means working together with countries nearby that are against terrorism (Magstadt, 2016: 2024 – Do my homework – Help write my assignment online). There are several security agencies working together to fight terrorism. Religious groups are also asked to use their influence to spread peace. Collaboration has been praised at the last General Assembly meeting because it has helped fight terrorism in some African countries. The other way is to teach people about how important peace is (Magstadt, 2016: 2024 – Do my homework – Help write my assignment online). So, people will stop giving money to terrorist groups or joining them. The education will involve debunking the myths about terrorists and explaining why they shouldn’t be supported. It will also show how much damage they have done all over the world to make people want peace instead of terrorism.
Conclusion
Creating an ideal state for Chile requires a democratic style of governance to enhance the involvement of the people in national affairs. The democratic approach will comprise of separation of powers into judicial, legislative and executive arms of government. It is also necessary to promote socializing since it will encourage people to adopt specific codes of conduct. A mixed economic structure is necessary to enhance competition and promote profitability. Joining international organizations such as the United Nations will help combat terrorist activities in neighboring countries and enhance domestic peace. The plan for the new government will ensure the country is running efficiently and peacefully.
