I have chosen Erikson’s 8 Stages of Psychosocial Development.
An example from my life is my sister, who is currently in her mid-20s and struggling with her sense of identity. She recently graduated from college and is having trouble figuring out what she wants to do with her life. She feels lost and unsure of who she is and what her purpose is.
Erikson’s concept of the fifth stage, Identity vs. Role Confusion, helps me understand my sister’s situation.
