This means that they do not have a second parental figure as a role model and are consequently deprived of an important source of adult support. No one can take the place of a missing parent, but there are small and large things a police officer can do to at least make an impression in the life of a child. Compile a list of actions officers can take to demonstrate their caring for children in this type of environment.
