Because her mother did not have a good job, they had to emigrate to the U.S to try a look for a sustainable job. The process of looking for a job and settling in the U.S was difficult. The situation affected the personal and relationship life of LC with her mother. After getting a boyfriend in the U.S, the family structure was limited and poor (Crits-Christoph et al., 2011). Proper actions should be taken in deal with the conflicts facing the boyfriend. LC reported numerous cases of assaults and continuous violence to her months for around 6 months. The pharmacological approaches including selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) would help in improving anxiety disorders. The combined psychological and pharmacological interventions would be useful resources in promoting complementary treatments and interventions.
Coping resources would also be useful in dealing with the anxiety disorder emerging from the intimate partner violence. The coping resources include the potential social and formal support which seeks to bring about success. The potential social support offers significant support against poor mental health effects (Antony, 2011). The usage of the formal support programs including mental health and DV shelters were useful in dealing with the violence related to the mental health outcomes. The approach coping designs were useful in shaping problem solving programs.
Multicultural Considerations:
The diverse people in the society deal with anxiety disorders in a different way. Largely, the Christians have clear programs and methods to improve the welfare of the people. There are lacks proper records of beliefs assessment and religious understand to analyze the client’s situation. The understanding of the diversity in the society is appropriate in developing proper ethical actions such as intercultural counseling program. Based on the American Counseling Association, the professional values and ethics are useful in promoting human development, the embracing of multicultural model to enhance the dignity of people within the cultural perspectives, and promoting social integrity and justice.
The professional ethical actions critical includes the creation of professional relationships, autonomy to control the persona life, and promoting the mental health. The ethical codes and provisions would help in shaping the nature of ethical responsibility and decision making (2014: 2024 – Essay Writing Service | Write My Essay For Me Without Delay ACA Code of Ethics). I believe that the professional ethics should be addressed used to improve the psychological aspect and implications. The assessment of the religious and spiritual characteristics is useful in improving the health condition and taking proper medical decisions and compliance. Going forward, multicultural psychological assessment is useful in reducing the anxiety disorders concerns.
