Introduction

The federal government has put across measures that will help oversee the communities’ health problems. A comprehensive approach is used to determine how to maintain and improve health in communities. One of these diseases affecting the population is HIV and aids. Most communities are being affected by this disease and being left to suffer due to the high stigma that is in the community about this disease. There has been an extensive history in the prevention and control of this disease all over the world. The surveillance data from various study researches that have been done have shown that there is a need for an intervention policy for HIV. The national and regional HIV surveillance records can bring out specific trends that lead to the occurrence of this virus in various communities. Most nations rely only on the data that is gotten through clinic tests which at times might not bring actual data since most people do not get tested. Having other initiated programs to acquire more data on the same is what is necessary. It gives vast feedback on the levels of HIV infected people in a community. After all the planning is done, the program design is now used entirely to reach the required results. The planning committee will be responsible for coming up with a questionnaire that will be used to finalize the research. The committee will visit homesteads in the community issuing these questionnaires to the people and urging them to answer the questions on the questionnaires with total discreet. The target group for this research will also be reached using social media platforms for those people that will have a hard time filling in the questionnaires. There will be celebrities and people battling HIV who are known in the community to help in this program. This will help the people much when it comes to being discreet with their results.
The stakeholders will be responsible for the funding of this program. This is especially the chief stakeholders like the federal government and social organizations. There will also be some donations from voluntaries. The program might not cost much since it will be conducted from people of the same area.
Through this program, they will be able to create awareness to the people about HIV, how it is passed, and prevention, among others. The community will be able to have confidence in themselves due to the presence of celebrities they know. They will act as role models to them and propel them to come out (Fantry, Connick, 2020, pp12-13). In the long-run people will be able to protect themselves from getting this virus and also the infected will be able to follow up on medications.
The success of this program will be determined by the positive answers and effects gotten from the people. To sustain these positive outcomes, this program will go on and spread further to other communities. There will also be a regular distribution of ARVs, regular testing and consultation for these people. This will ensure that people do not lose track of themselves. This program will oversee a future with fewer cases of HIV in the community.

A lot should be done to ensure that the communities are well-protected health-wise. Creating such health programs for the community will create a lot of public awareness. Therefore, the federal government should ensure that they invest more in such programs so that it becomes easier for them to handles outbreaks quickly, and a healthier community is found.
