In this scenario, the healthcare team needs to consider 3things for effective healing and promotion of health. Language line orinterpreter should be made available for patient for effective communicationthroughout hospital stay. Secondly, hemoglobin of 5.7 the family and patientneeds to be educated on alternate means of building up the blood withnutritionist and some medication. Thirdly ,the patient will need all supportshe will get from loved ones, priest, support groups from the community withthe help of social worker.  In conclusion, as nurses we need to understand that treatment of the same disease condition may be similarmedically, but will differ when it comes to beliefs and family values, that eachpatient has a specific needs which maybe spiritual or physical, and all needsto be considered during health promotion and illness prevention.
