This is a critical review .Part1Du Bois was probably the most influential African American of the early 21st century because he taught the value of self-respect, fought for political power, was insistent on civil rights and pushed for higher education of the Negro youth.I plan to show how my chosen author uses pathos as a mode of persuasion to prove his point in his essay, Of Mr. Booker T. Washington and Others. Du Bois feels Booker T. Washington’s programme is just accepting that the African Americans are an inferior race.
