2- Description:
The purpose of the event is for students to reflect on and analyze their chosen competency in the PDP (Personal Development Plan) and link it to their previous knowledge, experience, and assumptions.

3- Self-analysis:
A. Before the session, I had thoughts and assumptions about the competency of effective communication in a professional setting. I believed that being able to clearly convey ideas and thoughts was essential in any business setting.
B. The reason I selected this competency was that I believe that effective communication is a crucial skill to have in any professional setting and that it is something I can continue to improve on.

4- Application in context:
The learning in this course/workshop links to my previous knowledge and experience by reinforcing the importance of clear and effective communication in a professional setting. It also opened my eyes to new ways of approaching communication, such as active listening and understanding different communication styles.

5- Reconstruct self-concept:
After the event, I have become more aware of the importance of clear and effective communication in a professional setting and have changed my behavior by actively working on active listening and understanding different communication styles.

My future plan is to continue to improve my communication skills by actively seeking out opportunities to practice and improve. I plan to do this by participating in communication workshops, participating in group projects, and seeking feedback from colleagues and superiors.
