Based on the video “Sugar: Hiding in Plain Sight” there are many ways in which sugar is present within our daily food intake, often without us knowing. Fatty liver or steatosis is a result of excess sugar and alcohol consumption. Steatosis can cause inflammation, scarring and hardening of the liver.
