Imagine your healthcare institution (real or imaginary) has elected to implement an element of telemedicine to improve access, communication, and service. You have been appointed to the strategic planning team to develop the protocol for the use of this element in your institution. You are charged with researching telemedicine protocols, creating a protocol that is evidence-based and supported by research for your institution, and presenting the final product in PowerPoint format to your board of directors. Imagine that your real or made-up health care organization has decided to use telemedicine to improve access, communication, and service.
