MARK#1. Mohandie, Hatchert, Mohandie, and Hatcher stated, “Each year it is estimated that nearly 300 active duty police officer commits suicide. The suicide rate of law enforcement personnel is estimated to be between two and three times that of the general population” (p. 358). As a law enforcement officer, I heard and is said in the article, the numbers of suicides are greater than recorded but the departments label them as an accidental misfire rather than a suicide. Law enforcement is a highly demanding profession in ways such as mentally, physically, and emotionally. Being an officer changes the way you normally would act if you were a normal civilian. For example, when you go to a restaurant normally people do not care where they are seated, but an officer always wants their backs against a wall and has a view of the entrance. The reason we do that is that we are always on a high alert and survival is always on our mind. In today’s word, officers are dealing with a lot of hatred from their communities due to a few “bad apples” in other departments across the nation.  Suicide in law enforcement is an overwhelming devastating issue that needs to be addressed.

The reason I chose this topic is that it is a serious issue that we face, and I had multiple friends take their own life that was either a cop or a military member. As a Marine and now a deputy, we come face to face with an evil more than any other profession. Some evil that questions one’s faith. It changes can change an individual to where their own families and friends don’t recognize them. So, I am writing this essay to spread awareness, and most importantly it’s something I am passionate about.

Male friends or female friends

Males and females friends are very different in many ways. Friendship relationships are one motivating factor in human life. I take friendship very seriously when it comes to the value of a friend. In some cases, people find various benefits such as emotional comforts assisted and sharing everyday experiences. The essay that I am about created will show the difference between male and female friends. However, male friendships have several differences compared to females.

Women are very emotional as compared to their males. Females easy for people to trust in many, and they trust people as well. Sometimes, being a female is hard for the same sex. I have many females that I trust for the other Ten years. She had told me that have slept around with my boyfriend. I get along with male friendships better. Most of my male friends do not like gossips, and males like to keep the information within themselves. Female relationships were driven by jealousy and emotional feelings. That plays a role in a female relationship why their relationships do not work out. Males value trust and have some common objectives as theirs. Male has less amount of attracted to feeling intimacy. Loyalty a great value to males. (Oschema 200He6)” He argues that friendship is a divine gift, and that life without friendship loses meaning According to both.” Men are more engaged in activities, and women are disclosing their secrets and spending time together.
