Do the following
Step 1: this assignment is about the emotionally/behaviourally disturbed child. It is therefore necessary to make an in-depth study of Unit 4 also chapter 6 in your prescribed book, children with problems. At least 3 additional sources must be consulted as well for the purposes of this assignment.
Step 2: write your own definition on the emotionally/ behaviourally disturbed child by making use of characteristics of these children as identified by KAPP on page in 112 in your handbook.
Step 3: Discuss some of the main types of emotional and behavioural deviations
Step 4: get permission to conduct an interviews with educators involved with the leaner’s as well as parents (care-giver) to obtain their views on how a collaborate support plan should be drawn up between the school, family and community.

Each leaner is unique so each support plan would be unique. Do a case study of a leaner with emotional/ behavioural problems, Do a background study of the child’s by making use of the collaboration with others, teachers, parents and others who might be involved.
