In cities across America, some public school systems are rewarding students for perfect attendance by giving them money, shopping sprees, laptops, video games, and even a chance to win a car in a raffle. Yes it is true! A car was actually given away to student for perfect attendance at the local high school when I was teaching at Lake Tahoe Community College.
